Today at 11:00 a.m. EST, Old World from Mohawk Games became available for purchase on the Epic Games Store. This is the Early Access version of the game, and it will continue to evolve and improve in the coming months. That being said, it’s a wonderfully complete and polished product at this stage, and… it’s dangerous. If you’re at all stingy with your free time, beware.
In Old World, are one of the mighty empires of antiquity during an era of immense change and conflict. Not only do must you manage the resources, technologies, and laws of a mighty civilization, but you must also deal with backstabbers, lovers, and the occasional royal brat. Warp your children. Assassinate your enemies. Woo your courtiers. It’s all here. Old World combines the resource management and large-scale strategy of a 4 x game with the intimate craziness of a dynasty simulator.
It’s a lot of fun and a good way to see (and conquer) the (old) world while you’re stuck inside. ;)
