Confidentiality agreements! I love ‘em, but they can make my job pretty difficult. Game development takes a long time, and generating hype for new projects is tough when you can’t talk about them openly for months - even years - at a time. Thankfully, more exciting info dropped this weekend with the release of a new expanded gameplay/BTS trailer for The Expanse: A Telltale Series, a game I’ve been working on for a while.
Debuting during the event’s opening night livestream, the video delves into the story of a young, untested Camina Drummer, a fan-favorite character from the popular Amazon TV show (which is based on the bestselling book series). It shows some of the Zero-G scavenging gameplay, and we hear from Camina Drummer herself - actress Cara Gee - on what it was like to explore her character’s past for the first time.
Journeying deep into the Expanse world has been incredibly fun, and the team at Deck Nine and Telltale are, without a doubt, the best in the business when it comes to narrative adventure games. It’s been a blast! (bad rocket pun!)
